Today... my blog host (CURURU) announced
that they will be closing down due to problems!!
I was absolutely horrified to find this news.
It's hard for me to understand their notice because..
it's in Japanese! But it'll close on November 30th.
But I'm not sure where to blog once I have to leave.
Or if there's anyway to transfer my blog..
Anyways, so that's quite saddening.
I love the people there and the format of CURURU.
I'll truly miss it. So.. yes, I'm blog-hunting again.
Have you thought about ameba?? It's a japanese blog-host as well.
http://www.ameba.jp/
Some random examples:
http://ameblo.jp/yoshizumi1122/
http://ameblo.jp/kirikirilove/entry-10261168163.html
And don't know how but I think you can use it combined with poupee XD
This is poupee (well, this is MY poupee XD) : http://pupe.ameba.jp/profile/BZwRiRcsVVYn/
Sometimes I dress her Tommy-like XDDD
Re: The legendary "How was your day?" topic ^^
Yes! I have a blog with Ameba.
But after being with it for two days..
I've got like three spam e-mails. ¬_¬
So I'm looking for another site.
However! I may just go on Lang-8.
It's a blog correction kind of a site.
You write a blog entry, then people
read it and correct your mistakes =D
It'll be more practical, I guess.
Evenso, gonna miss my CURURU pals!
Hee-hee, nice pupe! That name
makes me laugh. My friend wrote
"dude" on his hand and thought it
said "pupe" upside-down...
Fun times.

Sorry I don't speak young American, does 'sucked ass' mean good or bad? Haha, only joking, I suspect it means bad....
Re: The legendary "How was your day?" topic ^^
it does mean bad, but I was only being sarcastic!
The funny thing is that I don't even know anyone else who says that besides my friends~!

Today, I had to do Business studies.
So, I feel very guilty about that, you see.
It's all right though. I'm doing Business study now!
Later, I have Politics work~ It's hard and interesting.
I love it =)
My next exam is on the 21st. Plenty of time,
But I don't want to waste time either, so better dash!
I have so many chores to do is unbelievable.
Never a good oppotunity to study in this house!! I did
my Japanese whilst doing the washing up, ha ha.

Yes, it's a goog idea. but I forgot this.
They may correct (into Japanese) even Tommy's blog.
Because her blog is far from the textbook.
And I can help your Japanese anytime.

Re: The legendary "How was your day?" topic ^^
=D I came across a piece of Japanese text with metaphors and idioms.
It took me so long to understand it because we say these things differently.
E.g. "猫に小判" (Giving gold coins to a cat) < this is my favourite idiom!
We have the equivalent, "Pearls before swine" but I had never heard of this
either. So it didn't help.. =P
Thank you very much, you and Mikanomoide are very kind!!

Pearls before swine
A prayer to Amida before horse ear (It has no effect on him)
Wind of spring coming from the east (He will turn a deaf ear to your advice)
The analects of Confucius before dog.
The questions of the university level.

Re: The legendary "How was your day?" topic ^^
Ah! A more direct translation of Pearls before swine!
(Does that mean it was adopted from the English, like 一石二鳥?)
I'm guessing it's more common than 猫に小判.
Ha ha, yes. It is very hard, but interesting when you learn them!
I love things like that, I have a book of Japanese idioms now!!
Can't say I've read the Analects, but I have heard of Confucius and
Confucianism. Had a great influence on East Asia, right? ^^
Learning about marketing today, it's all right. Just a little boring.
Business is my favourite subject at the moment, but for some reason
it's just so hard to be interested in it. I'm going to answer some exam
questions and send it to my teacher, in hope that he can mark it at
such short notice! However, politics is interesting ^^
We had a scandal about MP's (members of parliament) expenses
recently - taking public money for their personal usage. It has caused
quite a bit of trouble for them recently. The UK is not happy. =P

一石二鳥 kill two birds with one stone. (for eat) but (I'd never thought of it)
I mean, when someone thought "Bingo!" "I did it!!" "How lucky!!"

Thanks for the well-wishes for my parents! They're definitely enjoying themselves over there right now - and I really wish I was visiting England too! I studied abroad there a few years ago and I really miss it.
Nothing much today - I have off work and no more school ... I'm not really sure what to do with this free time!! Any book or movie recommendations?
