Jump Jump Jump - (help help help!)

Super Terra 2000 of course is a fantastic DVD, and on it is a song that to my knowledge has never been recorded, "Jump Jump Jump". Now this is an oober fast song, and even though it is in English, I find it very hard to hear all the lyrics. So I will qrite down what I think, and guess the lyrics are, and please folk, correct me if I am wrong (which I probably am).

No, I don't think so, the lyrics are too personal to Tommy, like the giving up smoking part for example, this is about the time they all gave up you see.

I believe it was written especially, and only for this tour and DVD.

Agree, I think the song is writing about them.

I think the song didn't release is due to the silly English lyrics, haha it's their wrost English lyrics ever!

Haha, thats true, assuming my version of the lyrics is correct. Even Tim Jensen couldn't rescue this one.

Still it fits into the live set brilliantly, and I love the song so much!

They should record a studio version anyways. I've heard song with worse engrish before.

After 100's of listens to that one line I couldn't get at the end, I have settled on -

Well, this is always interesting. I remember back in the days when I got my info on Yahoo!Groups, I was in a brilliant green one and I remember analyzing the lyrics to this song VERY closely. I just checked back through all the messages and this is what we came up with (and I listened a few more times to the song and included the stuff you guys found for the very last stanza).

I always interpreted the song as about her smoking. What I understand is that her boyfriend wants her to quit smoking, but she can't - so she gets a new boyfriend. It makes sense cause Tommy used to smoke and the bicycle is a metaphor for a boyfriend ...

I switched the lines "Not to be with lung cancer" and "Glad to be here, I ain't leavin'" and "I would tell you darling, forgive me" from theirs to what you deciphered. This is because those were the lines that the group REALLY never figured out and I think you're much closer than what they guessed. But it's still hard to tell ...

No problem!! It is a great song, all fans should have it.

BTW anybody thinks after she quit smoke, her voice changed a little, I love her voice every now and then, but I love her early voice with their early song such as "tsumetai hana", darker and magnetic tone that really match the song!!

Anyway glad she's quit smoking, health is much more important than anything.
