Tommy voice acting!!

Some have you may have already seen this before now, but I haven't! It's Tommy voice acting in the anime Piroppo. She of course provides the voice for the character Pikki, who makes a dramatic entrance at about 4:20

At last!!! I've been searching for this a LOONG time! I even thought about buying it only to see what Tommy voice listened like XDD

It seems a kinda strange anime O.o Similar to Bobobo maybe? It's sad because I hate bobobo ^^U

To me, it sounds like Tommy. I've thought about buying this and now I'm gonna have too.

Hmm... I went around looking for descriptions. The best ones were in Japanese, so I had a go at translating them.
This is a mix of descriptions + my translations of them, so forgive any mistakes regarding what this is about...

Broadcasted in October 2001, to promote Sony's new cute AIBO robot dogs, Sony released a story directed by Ishii Katsuhito (who has also directed "Shark Skin Man and Peach Hip Girl" and "Party7") with Studio 4℃ (who did "MEMORIES") in charge of the production.

The popular idol from the band "the brilliant green", Tomoko Kawase (pseudonym: Tommy february6), does the voice of Pikki who comes from space. Living a carefree life, the aspiring musician Champion, who constantly has snot dripping from his nose, and his close friend Hakobuu (ハコプー), who has the adorable LATTE on his back, unexpectedly meet Funira-san and together they go and/to eat curry ["たまたま出会ったフニラさんと一緒にカレーを食べに行くことに…。" - this is probably a specific episode?]. The design is deliberately wacky, with references to pop culture icons like masked wrestlers and cowboys, and a collar-and-tie wearing hammerhead shark.

I couldn't find out anything about MACARON other than it being a mischievous character. But I can't say I looked hard for any of this information.
