Congrats Sneakglove!
I'm finally unpacked after moving the second time in a month! It's quite overwhelming.
But now I can catch up again on buriguri news and the forum!

Thanks! We had a lovely evening, despite a deluge of September Rain.
God, I don't envy you, I hate moving... We still haven't unpacked all our boxes from our last move in March. But still, it's good to have you here, lets just hope we get some news soon.

I bought my very first bass few days ago, feel good 'cos I always want to play bass since I met the brilliant green. I couldn't deal with the brilliant green's 'cos it's too hard to me...
Due to Sneakglove's recommend I could play "I Wanna Be Adored" by the Stone Roses, LOL!!

Well done! Haha, good one. Mani from The Stone Roses is one of the best bass players in the UK for sure. I would love to hear you playing.

Re: The legendary "How was your day?" topic ^^
Today I have the day off work, because...
It is a day of two firsts for me.
1 - It is the first time I will have seen a Japanese musician perform a gig live! I am going to London to see Natccu perform today.
2- It will be the first time I would have ever met a member of the Tommy/TBG community in real life, because I am meeting Chiew76 today, and we are going to the gig together!
Yay!

Thanks, we did, and she rocked! We kinda hung around with the band afterwards too, which was great, but I chickened out of speaking Japanese to them, which I am mad about now. And OMG she is beautiful!

Re: The legendary "How was your day?" topic ^^
Yeah, it was a great gig!!
The only Japanese I managed to say to her was "Sugoi!!!"
I was a bit embarassed too, when a Japanese guy came up to me to talk. I didn't recognise him at all. It turned out to be Natccu's guitarist!! I guess I was watching Natccu more than I was anything else!!
I will upload some photos once my computer recognises my mobile phone... it's having trouble connecting for some reason.

Well thats understandable, but I was thinking, "Wow, cool, Chiews talking to Natccu's guitarist!", and to think you didn't even realise.

thats pretty awesome. About 2 weeks i went to see the japanese punk band D.S.B play and found out that they got deported!!!! They had to cancel every show in the us, canada and mexico. I was very, very, verrry disappointed.
Re: The legendary "How was your day?" topic ^^
Today I am very happy. Yesterday we found out that Lisa (my wife) got a new jon she applied for! This is a lot more money than she is on now, so it means that we can visit Japan for sure next year (watch out hidebow here we come!). So Buriguri hurry up and announce a proper tour for 2009 so we can decide exactly when we are going.
We kinda celebrated last night by having some booze, crisps and sweets while watching the last Bourne movie. Was good.
A belated happy halloween to you all also.

well on Halloween I cosplayed a a character from Soul Eater, which was fun! I went with like 9 of my friends and we trick-or-treated from 7:00-9:00. Then we hung out at my one friend's house till 11:00. It was so much fun! They have an amazingly huge house
LOVE HALLOWEEN!!!!
And now tonight I went out to this great restaurant with my family, my brother's girlfriend (who's also a friend of mine) and some familty friends, then my brother his girlfriend, and my best friend Rachel went to see out the school play called the Calamity ville horror, it was funny, and serious and scary and amazing!
So amazing weekend so far!

Congrats Lisa (and Jon!)!! I'm also planning on going to Japan next year (since I have a friend in the JET program) so I'm crossing my fingers that the brilliant green tours!!! Like ... it would be my absolute dream. But then again... with this horrible economy, it might be harder to save up for Japan than I previously thought ...
Besides that, my day consisted of watching "The Lives of Others," a 4-hour class in the morning and a Post-Halloween party!!
Now I have homework.

As far as they are saying over the pond in the UK is that it's a done deal, and that Obama will win. Is that what they are saying over there too?
