I follow Tommy on social media but I can't read Japanese so........ is she posting anything interesting?

*sigh* I miss her music.

Looks like she is just spending time doing nothing really.. I haven't heard any news of music from buriguri, from february or heavenly, lyrics or arrangements for other artists; not even a pregnancy announcement.

I wonder what happened to the whole idea about creating The James Addiction (referent to her Hot Chocolate video)? Guess it fell through? Kinda like the whole tommy cheerleader idea..

She said in twitter that she's tired of singing. And sometimes she says about new album but in a joking way.

Disappointing, but I think she ran out of ideas on the last couple of releases and the themes of february/heavenly started to bleed and merge into one another plus without Ryo TBG would also basically just be heavenly.

I'm a quality over quantity type of person though - I'll take one great LP every 5 years over an annual average/boring LP. A rest/regroup/recharge is not a bad thing and it doesn't mean the end.

I also think Tommy was the vanguard of a lot of what came after her. How many cutesy character popstars have we seen since that are doing offbeat videos and 80s-influenced Synthpop? Tommy was doing this years before anyone else. Now to hear 80s synthpop sounds is completely saturated in j-pop but 15 years ago Tommy brought something in that was fresh and exciting.

Makes me so sad, but I guess she made that choice. It was pretty great while it lasted.

Hello! I also wanted to chime in and say Tommy's discography has been added to the Youtube Music streaming service as well. It seems like for Tommy's solo work only the music released through Sony is available. Her albums released through Warner have yet to be posted.

Yay!! That's great news, at least her music will live on, even if she won't release anything new again. Long live Tommy ^^

I'm hoping she will see how much people like her music videos still and it ignites a fire inside her to make new music.
