Thanks for that article. It sucks to read that about Ryo, but I remember reading a Tommy february6 interview from 2001 where she said she preferred the freedom that came with her solo project, but I wish the band could have at least finished one album before the label change.

But if they can still pull off at least one great album in the end, that's all that matters.

It's actually really good to read that "Tommy February6 and Tommy Heavenly6 are far from dead" hehe =P

Wow, yes maybe. I did think it was a little weird that she talked about Ryo for the first time here.

Yeah, and most of the time translations are very generic.

I don't think they could embellish an entire part of an interview though. Tommy could like...sue them for lying about what she said. I'm sure they did actually talk about Ryo.

I'm glad that they are focusing their time into The Brilliant Green, but still have plans to return to Heavenly, and February in the future.

As for the single, I really do love it. It's an extremely solid release from them. Blue Sunrise is a nice surprise! It grows more on me after every listen!

I thought the interview was interesting and probably ... authentic. I mean, there is the definite possibility of communication/word errors because of the translation from Japanese to English. And although I am a little hesitant to believe it ... for now I will, until I find more evidence against it. It makes me incredibly sad to think that Ryo's parting was not amiable. But, I really enjoyed all the comments Leader made about the the writing/music process - how they want a small live venue sound, no computers (recording in analog), and how the writing process takes so long because they want to deliver quality music!

And I loove how he explains how everything they've recorded since the beginning is like an extension of their first demo tape that they made for themselves.

I agree Anunnunie, despite the sad part onf that interview, most of it was great to read, as usually we have to cope with a crappy google translation of a Japanese article.
I can just imagine Shunsaku in the studio all day recording every instrument one by one, and Tommy coming through bringing him treats every now and again

I am glad purely when I think that there is the person who has already had a new work in their hand☆
I can do my best when I think of all of you.

I am going to write a little about the new song “Blue Daisy”in this opportunity.

This song has a feeling of floating from the beginning and has the mood that I like personally.
When I wrote the lyrics,
I thought of the image like a memory that was left at the bottom of the dark sea,

I chose it as “Blue Daisy～♪”
Because it is the bottom of the blue sea, anyway this is the reason.
Perhaps I think this explanation is hard to understand a little.

When I thought whether the blue-daisy was exist and I searched for it, there was it.
It rounds and a small pale purple color flower. It's cute !!
It has a meaning about a feeling of happiness.
So the theme is a small feeling of happiness.

If you replace "you" with "a feeling of happiness" and listen, I am so glad to seem to fall down !

This is the message of this song.
In reality, it is difficult to solve a problem easily and it makes gloomy in our inadequacy.
I think that a viewpoint changes without grieving by being conscious of pleasure and happiness.
We cannot step forward to tomorrow when we think that there is only an unpleasant thing.
We must advance forward to arrive at the ideal place someday while we are healed by "comfort", and taking a rest.

The coupling is the cover of a famous song "All Day And All of The Night" by Kinks which we played in the TV program.
