Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
It's summer vacation in Japan now until the 18th, so I doubt I will hear anything before then...
Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
I think you should include again the question about Malibu Convertible and Brian Valentine. We are "almost sure" that it's him, but it would be great if he confirmed this.
Oh god, I hope this time they get to answer them! >w< It would be so incredible!!!
I was even thinking of us doing a recopilatory of letters as some forums have done. AHS has given one to Ayumi, and My Keys has given two already to Angela Aki and she has answered to them. Even Lady Gaga got two from a famous fansite, and she even recorded a video to say thank you.
We can try! It will be more attractive to look than a letter, and they won't refuse to give our book to the band ^^ That's what I think.

Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
Well the MALIBU CONVERTIBLE quesion was confirmed 100% remember, so that would be a waste of a question. We need to make the most of this!!
Tim is going to print off the list a take it to them, so they a guerenteed to at least see it. But if you want to do this book aswell and post it to them, then greaT!

Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
Let's see how it works out this thing about the letter and we'll see >W<
Oh god! I hope so much and they answer to us!!! That puts us one step closer to them *O*

Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
I would be down for doing a book type thing if the letter works out.
Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
WE HAVE PROGRESS FOLKS!!
Tim finally replied to me after I was starting to lose hope. Here is what he wrote to me -
hi jon
sorry it took a while to get back to you
I have been quite busy and am not around my computer as much as most people are
I received the questions and will give them to tommy on monday when I see her
the band will be on the cover of "sound and recording"
as I am a photographer, tommy and shun asked me to take it for them
it will be of the band in shun's studio
anyway, I will pass the questions on, I can't guarantee when they will be answered
at least you will know that they have them
peace
tim jensen
What I did was attach the 10 questions to an email. hidebow had translated these into Japanese, along with this message, which I hope at least they will read on Monday.
"Dear Tommy & Shunsaku
We are the creators of an English language forum dedicated to The Brilliant Green and Tommy and also big fans of your music! The members of the forum have got together and come up with 10 questions that they would like for you to answer. As most of the forum are from outside of Japan, and therefore do not speak Japanese, it is very hard to find out news and information on the band and Tommy, so we thought this would be an excellent way for you to communicate with your overseas fans.
We hope you can take a short break from your busy schedule to answer these 10 questions, as it would bring all your fans from around the world great joy to have you speak to them in this way.
Finally, as fans, we would like to say a big thank you for all the joy you have brought us with your music, and long may it continue in the future."
I used the new forum banner as a letterhead, so Level masteR, I hope you do not mind Tommy seeing your work on Monday?
So I want all of you to keep you fingers crossed on Monday (Sunday evening/night for us westerners) and think happy thoughts. Wish us luck!!
Exciting isn't it? :bounce

Has Tommy ever done meet & greets before?

Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
I truly believe that when they get time, Tommy and shun will answer the questions for us.
Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
OMG!!!!!!!
"I received the questions and will give them to tommy on monday when I see her"
Wow, that sounds so beautiful. As Sneak said once, reading abount someona that is close to Tommy makes me feel closer to her.

Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
Ahhh so exciting! Even if they don't answer the questions (worst case scenario, but still!) at least they will have even more an awareness of their overseas fan base! And great introduction letter, Sneaky!
I'm still in shock that it's actually working!!!!

Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
I chased Tim up again this week, and he finally replied. Things don't look too good, but all is not lost, yet....
Here's what he wrote
hi jon
hey, I have sent another email to tommy and shun along with the questions
I have also told their manager to ask them what's going on
I've been in the states on business and haven't talked with them
it is important that you understand my position with tbg
I am not their manager, nor their record company a&r person
I know them very well, when they are working on projects, anything other than that gets pushed to the back burner
they are still extremely busy, and if I keep pushing them, then it affects my working relationship with them
I promised that I would pass the questions on, which I did, but told you I could not guarantee the response
after your last email I wrote to them and told their manager to inquire about it
I'm sorry you have to wait
but patience is important when dealing with rock stars
sincerely

Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
Hey, at least he is trying, and thats pretty damn awesome...
Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
Yeah, I agree, but I did feel a bit of a dickheard after that email. Although, I hadn't heard from him for a long while, and he didn't respond to two enquiries before my last email, so I thought I was in my right to ask him why he hadn't replied with news.
Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
It's worth trying though!! And Tim sounds like a pretty cool guy.

Yes of course I did. I just wanted to know if it failed or not, then I could stop getting my hopes up every time I turned on my laptop.
Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.

Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
^ Same here, lol.
Oh but I heard about a month ago or so about the president's death and I was like, isn't that the same president of Buriguri's new record company?? So it is true. RIP.
That aside, yaaay for the interview! Thank you very much for bringing that wonderful piece of news to us!
