Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
For one, I want to know if we will ever see that flask drinking, cheerleader dancin', Pikachu lovin' Tommy february6 again. I know a lot of people would like to hear some new feb6 tunes.
Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
Question 8 could be amended to specify her solo projects future.
I emailed her agency requesting an interview. It's a long shot, but you never know

Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
OMG OMG OMG!!! I EMAILED TIM JENSEN, AND HE REPLIED!!! HE IS WILLING TO TAKE THE QUESTIONS TO TOMMY AND SHUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I WILL PASTE HIS REPLY BELOW -
hi jon
thanks for the email
tommy and shun are very busy making the new album so I don't know if they will do the interview
the don't speak english, so do you have someone who can translate your questions into japanese
then the answers into english?
also, if the questions are set up in a fashion that they can be answered quickly and to the point
then, it could possibly be done (they are so busy and anything that distracts them from the album for too long will be dismissed)
let me know what you think
can't promise anything though
cheers
tim jensen
I will send him the draft of questions and see what he thinks. I need them translated into Japanese though!!
I think I need to change my underwear now...

Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
Oh oh! Ask Tommy if she ever plans on doing anything for her American fans!
Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
Amazing news! I really hope it works out.
The one thing I'd love to know is if Tommy was happy with the whole february6 project, and if there are any plans to continue with any february6 releases, or if there are any unreleased february6 tracks.
Good luck

Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
Thanks guys. I guess I will have to keep the questions down to the minimum to start with. I do have a couple o f questions regarding overseas fans, and I do ask about her solo projects.
If this works, maybe it will pave the way for more in the future. LETS JUST STAY CALM AND MAKE SURE WE DON'T F*** THIS ONE UP!!!!!!
ARRRRGHHHH I FEEL SICK!!!!!!!!!

Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
Please, just ask if the "tommy february6" persona will have a comeback?

I cannot just ask this, haha, but yes, I will ask about the future of both solo projects.
Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.

Thanks Anunnunie!! To be honest, I kinda never expected to hear back from Tim, so it shocked me too!! As usual I received no reply from the record company and agency, so this was my last shot really. He seems a really nice man, so I hope it will all work out. If it doesn't then Tommy & Shun would have at least read or words and would know we existed.
Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
EEEK!!! So cool!!!!!! This is just amazing!!!!! I really hope they will do the interview. =D
Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
WOW so nice!
I hope it comes true!!!
Will you take questions from us? Like, each member creates a question and you select the best ones?

We've done that already. The list is on a previous page, although I had to change/adapt a couple of the questions which were out of date now. The original questionaire was sent to KEN-ON and we got no reply, despite the letter being signed for by former TBG boss Takayuki Ito. Look back for the full story.

Wow this is awesome! I'm so excited for this! Tim Jensen is amazing!
I would probably ask what others would ask about, future solo projects and her fans in the English speaking world.

Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
Yeah, great news!!!
I look forward to the day you get a proper interview between you and them person to person!
Probably a good idea to steer clear of any questions concerning Ryo, and with question 9 now being omitted too, should we have a couple more Shun-specific questions?
Plus, as said in Tim Jensen's reply, the questions need to be set up so they can be answered quickly and to the point, so nothing too vague...
Got my fingers crossed anyway

Re: Project - Our interview with The Brilliant Green.
These are the questions I sent to Tim for his to check out. I did ommit the Ryo question and changed Question 9 as chiew said, as that has been answered now.
1. Why did you decide to call the band The Brilliant Green?
2. Could you please tell us a little bit about the band’s songwriting process?
3. Which songs by The Brilliant Green would each of you rate as being your own personal favourite(s)?
4. Who are your musical heroes?
5. Which other modern day bands from Japan and also the western world influence you at the moment?
6. Have you ever thought about releasing a live album, an acoustic album or even an album of you covering songs by other artists?
7. Tommy, could you tell us your main inspiration(s) when writing your lyrics?
8. Tommy, looking back, why did you decide to embark on a solo career; has it gone as you anticipated, and can we expect more projects in the future?
9. Do you realise how many loyal and dedicated fans you have in Europe and North and South America?
10. Finally, (this is an important question for all of your fans overseas) - will The Brilliant Green ever embark on a world tour, or even just perform some shows in Europe and/or America?
