Hello Tommy fans!
Hello everybody! Nice to meet you.
I joined a while ago, but have remained dormant. I thought it would be nice to introduce myself moreso.
I'm Jazz and as for Tommy history, I actually stumbled across Tommy february6 by accident. I watched an anime and liked the song, as I was browsing for what it might be called, I came across a blog - which spoke about Tommy's video for "Lonely in Gorgeous", I looked it up and became a Tommy february6, a great the brilliant green and then a Tommy heavenly6 fan =) I've only been listening to Japanese music for perhaps 2 or 3 years, I'd say she pushed me into being more into J-Pop.
From there, I have gained an interesting in Japanese media. I love watching Japanese TV, films, listening to Japanese music, podcasts/radio, etc. I'm currently self-studying Japanese, please anyone feel free to check out my blog: http://myhome.cururu.jp/jazzbeans/blog ~ But, be warned: my Japanese is FAR, FAR, FAR away from being good yet. I'm trying my best though and hope to be fluent, then I won't need subtitles =D
But, here's some other artists I like: Shiina Ringo, SOIL&"PIMP" Sessions, BONNIE PINK, Bjork, Clazziquai, Jazztronik, Tokyo Jihen, Frank Sinatra, Namie Amuro, Humming Urban Stereo and RIP SLYME. ~ amongst many others of course.
Thank you for reading! =D Sorry, I hope that was okay, not sure on what to say. x

Welcome !
I think you have no major problem communicating in Japanese.
You should be proud of yourself.

Re: Hello Tommy fans!
Thank you very much ghitgo, perhaps I should find my other art including Tommy.. I don't know where they are, haven't drawn or seen my art in ages and ages, you see, it was very shocking to see one of my artworks on here! Ha ha.
Well.. I only started studying in October last year, so I am pretty proud of myself but, I still believe my Japanese is bad. However, I know it'll get a lot better because I'm determined.
Thank you very much, you're very kind =Dmikanomoide wrote:Welcome !

Re: Hello Tommy fans!
Fun times! I've never travelled to another part of England before (Just stayed within the South). I wonder if I'll ever go to the Midlands or North someday..
Re: Hello Tommy fans!
Really? You should! There's loadsa cool places!
Sneakglove also lives in the Midlands; we've met up a couple of times.
I've been down South-West a few times; Cornwall, Exeter, and Bristol (dunno if that counts as SW).

Re: Hello Tommy fans!
I live in Bristol, it counts. =)
Oxford is in the Midlands, I believe, my auntie has moved there so I'll probably go there sometime. May stay in a hotel and travel a bit, as well as going to see her, she has horses and such so it would be pretty cool. Wonder if it'd FEEL different to be in another place in England, whether or not the atmosphere is different (although, I believe that places are different anyways, but still).

Re: Hello Tommy fans!
Welcome Jazzbeans!! You are most welcome here and your blog is macho kawai!!
I like Bristol, despite only ever really passing through on the way to Cornwall & Devon. I like the views you get of the 2 Severn bridges from the M5 motorway. I always try and get a good look at them despite nearly crashing the car when I try.
Chiew is correct, I am from the East Midlands too. I hope we will be able to arrange for you to come up here for the DVD marathon in September. By the way, ignore my 'Where bouts in the UK are you from' question on the other thread.

Thank you very much Sneakglove!
Ha ha! Well I hope you'll never crash your car, xx
Bristol's a very nice place (although I've lived here all my life, so I could be bias..). I can say many good things about it. =) Everyone smiles.
=D A DVD marathon? Watching various DVDs for hours on end? (My friend and I do that.. ha ha).

Well our DVD marathon is watching every Tommy and TBG DVD back to back of course. The first one was last year and we had 3 attendees. Hoping to get 5 this year with you and tomoko_chan maybe.

Haha, I didn't realise Oxford counted as the Midlands! It's about 2 hours drive, so I always thought it was part of the South.jazzbeans wrote:I live in Bristol, it counts. =)
